AUTISM – ARE YOU VERBAL?

For years, we tossed around the word Autism.

It didn’t fit, it fit, it labeled him, it didn’t, we cared, we didn’t.

We used to look at the faces that stared while he screamed.

We don’t even notice now.

AUTISM.

It was a word that held such power.

Now…it’s just a word…

And Ronan James is just fabulous.

How do you talk about autism?

Mamas Have Tricks for Picky Eaters!

Ro has never eaten a sandwich in his entire life.  He used to like grilled cheese before the diet, but now, he gags at the sight of untoasted bread with something in between!

A few weeks ago, Auntie Snackie (ooh, what an apropos nickname!) sent these nifty sandwich cutters to the boys.

They LOVE them, and I really use them everyday.  Get them here Mamas!

The Ro. Still. Not. Better.  (but at least he held food down yesterday).

Their father.  Still. Out of town.

Their mother.

Stay tuned for updates, so to speak.
