Can I be the fluke worm?

This century’s most brilliant actress, Amanda Peet, refers to parents who don’t vaccinate their children as “parasites”.

Let me detach myself from my host so I can post you the insightful link…ah, okay, here it is…

Hmm.  Sometimes, I do have a rather large, blood-thirsty-looking yap.

Wth? I’v never heard of a parent that “doesn’t like” putting sunscreen on her kids. There is nothing wrong with protecting your kids from harmful rays and sunburns. I’d hate to be her kid thats for sure.

no its completely accurate. the “not vaccinating” trend is a public health crisis, and if a critical mass reaches an outbreak could occur, not to mention the considerable health risk you are putting your children at. So you are enjoying the benefits of a society free of measles or other infectious diseases created by vaccination, yet out of your own ignorance doing your small part to endanger our standard of public health. Many, many studies have been done to show there is no link between vaccination and autism, and thus no more reason to be alarmed than some other absurd claim like wearing plaid causes cancer.

Do you have a child named Ronan who has autism and disappeared after 3 days of intense pain and illness secondary to 5 vaccinations in one day? No? Write back to me with this same opinion when you can answer yes to my question, and then I’ll think about your reply with more gusto.
      Thanks for your input!

Its true however. Autism causes much less damages to the human brain and society than illnesses such as polio or smallpox. Its nice and all that your trying to play the “My child has Autism” card, but your not perceiving the fact that those vaccinations are preventing the premature death of millions. You are being very selfish to think that just because your single child has a severe case of echolalism that you can act as if you are some manner of political crusader.

See the below comment to Andrew. Opinions with experience are welcome here, including constructive criticism. However, it is appreciated if judgment could be reserved for topics on which you have walked in relatively similar shoes 🙂 This is not a selfish way to communicate, rather a most constructive method.
